Hi...my name is Parker.  One day my Grandma Nancy and I went to the Monterey Aquarium, and O BOY! it was FUN!  I petted the starfish   and touched some kind of black-shelled creature .  When I looked into one of the open tanks, there were two eyes looking up at me and, no way Jose, was I going to touch that guy!  They even had movies that showed sea creatures, like sea urchins  .  Grandma let me use this special phone that told me about some of the sea animals, like these jellyfishes  .  I even saw the sharks, like the hammerhead shark and the leopard shark.  There is a special place for kids where you can pretend that you are a sea lion or maybe a seal .  After our visit we stopped at the beach.  Have you ever thrown a rock into the waves  , and then see if the waves will bring it back to you ?  I never saw the rock, but those waves sure came after me and I had to run really fast.  I like when I come to the beach .  There's always lots of room to run and play on the beach .
